From the preparation work ahead of closing the books, to the completion of the final reports afterwards, it does sometimes feel like you are just out of one when the work starts for the next!
Otherwise, there are always more regular and ad-hoc tasks to be done, such as reconciling our accounts, issuing intercompany recharge invoices, and any corrections that need to be booked in our ledgers.

I always wanted to be a lawyer. Although my legal career was not straightforward. I finished my fist law degree in Lithuania and had to do it all again when I moved to the UK.
At NSK Europe, my role covers contract review, drafting and negotiation, legal research into diverse topics, providing the business with the legal advice on these topics.

Up until this time, I hadn’t been aware what part bearings play in our daily life. I learned a lot and still do. I never thought bearings could be so fascinating!
My core focus is making work simpler and more efficient for my team. I build digital tools that automate repetitive tasks, freeing my colleagues to concentrate on what's most important. I also develop Graphical User Interfaces, ensuring they are intuitive and efficient for my colleagues to use.
CHRISTOS LIVERAS
Environmental & Quality Systems Specialist, Newark
I am a lead environmental and quality systems auditor. I have become a lead admin/expert in several environmental and quality systems used within the business.
I support our sales and manufacturing operations with various environmental and quality topics. I work with our UK operations to ensure compliance to environmental legislation. I also liaise with NSK HQ in Japan to cascade environmental requests to NSK Europe operations.
PHILLIPP THOMALLA
HR Manager (Germany), Ratingen
The opportunity to work in a global, culturally diverse company with strong values and innovation appealed to me. Over time, I gained a deeper appreciation of the industry and its impact and the many different uses for bearings in our everyday life.
My role includes HR Operations for Germany, so recruitment and employee development, HR administration, facilitation of payroll, European Projects for HR digitalisation, acting as admin for our Intranet system and our, European Car Policy.
