NSK HTF Series Ball Screws offer Increased Load Capacity
NSK Precision America has introduced the HTF Series of ball screws for use in applications with high load requirements. A product of extensive R&D efforts, the HTF Series increases maximum allowable load, allowing for the replacement of hydraulic drives with electromechanical drives in many applications.
Ideal for injection molding machines, presses and power cylinders, the HTF Series is available in more than twenty-five unique variations. Shaft diameters range from 1.77” to 5.51”, with leads from .39” to .98”. The HTF Series can be used at speeds with a d x N (shaft diameter [mm] x rpm) value set to 70,000 or less.
To transmit high torque, the HTF Series is readily adaptable to a variety of shaft end forms, including keyways, straight-sided splines, involute splines and spur gears. Standard accuracy grades are C5 and C7. Standard axial play is < 0.020” or < 0.050 mm.
