Special Environment (Spacea™ Series) Products
NSK's special environment ball bearings, ball screws and linear guides are optimal for applications in operating environments that are too severe for standard products. The SPACEA™ Series has a wide array of product variation applicable to special environments such as vacuum, clean, corrosive, high-temperature, dust or water contaminated, and non-magnetic requirements. In demanding operating environments, these bearings will meet your high quality and high performance standards. The special environment range utilizes advanced materials, lubricants and surface treatment technologies for special operating conditions.
Deep groove ball bearings are the current focus of the rolling element SPACEA™ Series. These are designed for use in a wide variety of special environments including:
- Clean rooms for the manufacture of semiconductors
- Aqueous environments for food processing
- Environments where corrosive substances are present
- Vacuum conditions where conventional methods of lubrication are unsuitable
- High temperature applications up to +400 °C.
Molded-Oil™ Ball Bearings
Lubricated with NSK’s original oil-impregnated material, Molded-Oil™, and are suitable for corrosive and dust-contaminated environments.
Aqua Bearings™
A special fluororesin for outer/inner rings, balls & cages equipped to meet a broad range of light load applications in water, alkali & strong acid environments.
Stainless Steel Ball Bearings
Specially designed bearings suitable for high humidity environments.
Hybrid Ball Bearings
Combining ceramic balls and fluororesin self-lubricating cages, are suitable for corrsoive environments from normal atmosphere up to vacuum.
Fluoride Low-Temperature Chrome-Coated Ball Bearings
Stainless steel bearing specially designed for high temperature and water-splash environments.
All-Ceramic Ball Bearings
With self-llubricating fluororesin cages, these bearings are suitable for corrosive environments & non-magnetic requirement from normal atmosphere up to vacuum.
Nickel Alloy Coated Ball Bearings
Nickel coating on the outer & inner rings to enhance corrosion resistance & durability.
Precipitation-Hardened Stainless Steel Hybrid Ball Bearings
Ulitizing oxide-based or silicon nitrate-based ceramics, these bearings are designed for alkali and weak acid environments.
Carbide-Based Ceramic Ball Bearings
Highest corrosion resistance among ceramics - designed for strong acid, strong alkali and corrosive gas environments.
Resin Ball Bearings
More durable than stainless steel ball bearings - designed for strong acid, strong alkali and corrosive gas environments.
SJ Ball Bearings
Outstanding performance in normal atmospheric and vacuum environments up to 400º.
