Position:  Sales Engineer

Location:  Chicagoland; Milwaukee, WI; or Peoria, IL

Description:  Manages the sales effort of NSK Cop within a sales territory.  Assumes higher level of responsibility for sales and product leadership as defined by one’s supervisor.  Gains approvals through customer interface and involvement.  Direct engineering efforts to ensure follow-up to customers.  Set and monitor communications between USA, Japan, and Singapore.  Report market trends.  Initiate market research.  Initiate pricing structures.  Prepare presentations to customers.  Present new ideas and products to customers.

Requirements:  Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and 6-8 years of position-related experience; preferably 8-10 years of position-related experience.   Prior experience in the bearing or a related industry is preferred.  Ability to travel up to 40% of the time.

Position:  Senior Territory Manager

Location:  Northeast Ohio/Western Pennsylvania

Description:  Manages the sales effort of NSK Corp within a sales territory.  Assumes higher level of responsibility for sales and product leadership as defined by one’s supervisor.  Develops and implements sales objectives, plans and strategies for present and potential products.  Controls and coordinates business-related activities between NSK and customer.  Prepares and maintains field “sales” records, reports, and customers’ forecasts.  Utilizes advanced professional sales skills to satisfy all customer issues.  Precipitates in forecasting and market analysis by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting general economic, industry and competitive information.  Identifies, evaluates, and develops opportunities with existing and potentials customers.  Supports and implements company goals, objectives, and special assignments as requested.  Establishes and maintains ongoing relationship with internal personnel.  Carries out any special assignment as required by Regional Managers.

Requirements:  Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and 6-8 years of position-related experience; preferably 8-10 years of position-related experience. Prior experience in the bearing or a related industry is preferred.  Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
