Position:  Segment (Marketing) Leader

Location:  Ann Arbor, MI

Description:  Implements segment strategy as directed by senior management of the business unit.  Maximize NSK sales and profitability in the defined strategic segment while effectively utilizing the company’s manufacturing capabilities.  Assists in the development of the segment business plan for the defined strategic segment.  Provides support to the sales staff on customer negotiations to carry out the established strategies.  Responsible for the collection, analysis, interpretation, and reporting of all economic, industry, market and competitive product data.  Provides direction to sales staff regarding potential market, competitive and technical changes within a market segment.  Conducts market analysis and coordinates financial analysis to support market and production growth.  Directly and indirectly manages the work of others.
Accountable for development and achievement of segment’s expense budget.

Requirements:  Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field and 4-6 years of position-related experience; preferably 6-8 years of position-related experience.

Position:  Application Engineer

Location:  Ann Arbor, MI

Description:  Communicates with customers and documents customer product and project needs and communicates to design and T-NSK.  Performs technical calculations/evaluation of customer application requirements.  Administrates technical report requirements and helps to determine appropriate information needed.  Communicates with NSK plants on customer needs.  Administrates cost reduction ideas and new designs.  Assists development engineers with evaluation of tested or warranty return products.  Administrates customer sample bearing requests.  May manage technical activities of assigned projects as part of a cross-functional team.  Evaluates technical aspects of customer requests for quotation.  Training and development of customers and NSK personnel relating to NSK products.  Oversees support of customer technical requirements for assigned customers.  Identifies and defines project and product opportunities in line with business unit direction.

Requirements:  Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (Mechanical Engineering degree preferred) and 2-4 years of position-related experience; preferably 4-6 years of position-related experience.

Position:  EPS Electrical Applications Engineer

Location:  Ann Arbor, MI

Description:  Provide on-site technical support for design related activities and customer presentations.  Provide a single point of contact for all technical issues foe the customer.  Provide support locally for any technical activities regarding current production activities.  Negotiate technical requirements with the customer to provide a cost effective solution to their needs.  Understand, summarize, and report on customer technical trends, and pending technical legislation.

Requirements:  The position requires a bachelor’s degree in Engineering and a minimum of six (6) years of automotive related experience. Specific EPAS experience is preferred.
