NSK's ASP Academy Overview

NSK’s ASP Academy is a training event designed to help Automation Solutions Providers (ASPs) maximize the benefits of partnering with NSK. During this two day training, participants will gain valuable tools and expertise to more easily and efficiently sell NSK products.

The goal of NSK’s ASP Academy is to demonstrate simple ways for you to design in and sell NSK products. To achieve this goal, you will get a firsthand look at NSK’s domestic capabilities, strengths and commitment to quality. You will learn how to set better delivery expectations for your customers by understanding the solutions NSK can provide quickly from stock or modification. You will also see how NSK compares to competitive offerings and how we stack up with other technologies.

 

Who Should Attend?

This course is designed for ASP sales persons and those involved with designing customer solutions. The course content is advanced so a base of knowledge of linear motion products is preferable. However, a self-guided intro course is available, please click the pre-course material tab to download.

What Will I Learn?

Upon completion of the training event, participants will have a basic understanding of how to best sell NSK products including:

  • Product specifications, nomenclature and selling points
  • Domestic manufacturing capabilities and lead times
  • Applications
  • Price book calculation
  • Online CAD drawing systems
  • You will also meet your support team and gain valuable resources to support your sales efforts.

2012 Dates and Location

The following are the 2012 scheduled dates:

  • March 20-21, 2012
  • June 19 and 20, 2012
  • Nov 13 and 14, 2012
  • NSK’s ASP Academy takes place at NSK’s facility in Franklin, Indiana, just south of Indianapolis. Participants are responsible for their own transportation to/from Franklin, but NSK takes care of the rest, including daily transportation, meals and hotel accommodations.
