NSK Receives the 2009 Komatsu Grand Partner Award

Tokyo, Japan, June 3rd, 2010 – NSK Ltd. (NSK; Headquarters: Tokyo, Japan; President and CEO: Norio Otsuka) announced today that it has received the 2009 Komatsu Grand Partner Award from Komatsu Manufacturing Corporation (President and CEO: Kunio Noji). The Grand Partner Award (R&D division) was given to NSK as one of seven outstanding performance suppliers for contribution in fiscal year 2009.

The Komatsu Grand Partner Award was awarded to suppliers for their excellence in fields such as product quality, delivery performance and technical service. NSK was honored for the first time, for improving the performance of its bearings within a short time. NSK made possible great improvements for Komatsu large dump trucks.

NSK President and CEO Norio Otsuka received the award from Komatsu President and CEO Kunio Noji during the ceremony held on May 7 at the ANA Intercontinental Hotel (Tokyo, Minato-ward, Akasaka).
