In addition to standard training material, NSK provides customized courses.  Working together to specify the duration and content of the training sessions, NSK provides relevant, high quality training that ensures participants obtain the maximum benefit from their attendance.

NSK Trainers

All of our trainers are experienced NSK application engineers, and possess a very high degree of technical knowledge combined with significant field experience.  They are familiar with many typical, often recurring, industry specific requirements.

Who Should Attend

Our training sessions and seminars are appropriate, depending on course content, for a wide variety of job functions including both new and experienced engineers and maintenance personnel as well as project and design engineers, reliability or improvement engineers.  There are even courses available for people involved in the handling and storage of NSK products.

Bearing Products 1

Introduction to bearing technology (Basic).  The course provides an introduction to bearing technology, including bearing description, terminology, and different types of bearings, part numbering and typical applications.

BEARING PRODUCTS 2

Introduction to Bearing technology (Advanced).  In this course, basic bearing technology is reviewed plus an insight into design and features of bearings.  Additionally, this training course includes effects on performance for various options, bearing selection, internal clearance, fits with shafts and housing as well as life calculations.

BEST PRACTICE FITTING AND REMOVAL

This course focuses on fits with shafts and housings; how to fit and remove common bearing types using workshop and specialist fitting tools.

Bearing Diagnostics

In the diagnostics course, you will gain an understanding of bearing failure analysis and how to spot common failure modes.

Application of Bearings

This course introduces critical considerations when selecting and applying bearings into machinery.

INDUSTRY SPECIFIC TRAINING

In these courses we cover the key issues affecting a segment, along with common requirements encountered as a result of the working environment.  We offer helpful advice on the best solutions available to provide common industry related bearing solutions.

Courses are readily available in the following segments:

• In Principal Industries, such as Steel & Metals, Pulp & Paper, Quarry, Mining and Construction.
• In Processing Industries, such as Food & Beverage, Petrochemical.
• And also Processing Machinery; Electric Motors, Gearboxes, Machine Tool and Pumps & Compressors.
